Harvey Pekar’s American Splendor Film Screening and Live Podcast Discussion with the Directors at the Society of Illustrators!

We want to tell you about a special live podcast event. On Wednesday, October 2nd, at New York City’s famed Society of Illustrators, Josh & Dean will host a screening of American Splendor, followed by a live discussion and Q&A with the filmmakers, animators, and possibly other guests.

We’ll discuss the film’s unique construction, reveal previously unexplored connections between the original American Splendor comics and the film, and remind everyone why Harvey Pekar is such an important figure in the history of comics. What’s more, we will be taping the discussion for future broadcast — so this is your chance to be on Scene by Scene with Josh & Dean!
